If you want to make money taking surveys the first question you ask yourself is it to be or not to be? If you do not have some time to spare and patience and a computer, I would have to say it's not to be. I have found that taking surveys require very little prior experience. I'm not very computer literate. Fact is you can label me a techno dinosaur. However I do have a computer. I have some spare time and dose not take a lot. The patience part we'll work on. Sitting down for a long period of time is difficult for me. The plus side is when you take an online survey take a break whenever you want and come back later. You're the boss!
I have to warn you that there is no instant big money taking online surveys. I have found that I can make some consistent walk around cash for very little time invested. You can make ten to fifty dollars per survey. The more time it takes the more money it usually pays. There are one to three hour forums they pay you to participate in, and these pay more, but are prepared to sit for a while. Not only is cash for surveys paid also credits can be earned toward prizes.
Don't be fooled by promises of one hundred to two hundred dollars per hour possibilities because it's just not going to happen unless you're some techie that has developed new software to automate everything. Good luck with that. These companies want real responses from real people to better mold there products for success. I found that fifteen to forty dollars per hour is reachable for me if I stay focused.
If you want to make better than minimum wage working from home taking surveys for cash part time, just be consistent, focused and patient. I have problems with all three and still am happy with the results. I just dedicate a few hours every other day or so and sit down at my computer. Check the emails. Scan the offers. Pick a few then sit down and go to work. I know there are many free sites to choose from, however I picked a paid site and it was relatively inexpensive.
