As a teen, I remember the days of working at the local grocery store, bagging groceries for minimum wage. While it was nice to earn a paycheck every other week, it wasn't the most glamorous job, nor did it pay enough for the time that I had to put into it.
With other activities included, my schoolwork began to suffer as I was having some trouble playing the balancing game. Out of everything, my schoolwork was the most important, so I had to figure out how to make things work. After not finding any alternatives, I turned to the internet. That's when I managed to find out about paid surveys.
With paid surveys, you only need to be 13 years old in order to participate. While you may think that surveys are geared towards an older audience, you would be surprised at how many surveys you receive as a teen. When I found out this information, I signed up with every survey site that I could find. After completing quite a few surveys for a few weeks, my earnings were almost that of my part-time job.
Here was the kicker - I could stay at home and complete surveys when I had free time, such as breaks in between homework or on the weekends when I was free. I didn't have to leave the house or spend 5 hours a night bagging groceries. And I was earning the same amount of money with paid surveys as I was working 20 hours a week at the grocery store!
